What does “premium ingredients” mean?I am passionate about sourcing high-quality ingredients whenever possible to create delicious and flavorful treats for my clients. Most ingredients are USDA Organic or certified non-GMO, which helps reduce the use of and exposure to pesticides and chemicals, making them better for our bodies and helping to support sustainability for our ecosystem. I use grass-fed dairy products to further support sustainability. As a bonus, grass-fed products have a richer flavor profile, enhancing the taste of my offerings.

What is small batch baking?I specialize in small batch baking because quality is of utmost importance to me. By focusing on small batches, I ensure that every baked good is consistently delicious each time you order, without taking any shortcuts. This approach allows me to dedicate the necessary time and attention to every detail, ensuring that each product meets the high standards my clients have come to expect.

Do you provide allergen-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, or vegan alternatives?While I take all the necessary precautions to prevent cross-contamination, I do not offer any allergen-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, or vegan alternatives.

Can I request tiered cakes or personalized designs?I specialize in single-tier cakes. I do not have the ability to create designs or use colored dyes in frostings.

What areas do you serve?Sweet Comforts Bakery holds licenses and permits to serve Lacey and Olympia. If you reside in an area not listed, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page and I’ll be happy to explore how to best assist you.

How do I place an order?To place an order, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page to email me directly. I will respond within 24 hours.

How much advance notice is required for an order?While 3 days after an order confirmation is preferred, I will do my best to assist if something is needed more urgently.

Are there order minimums?Yes. Cookies are 6 per flavor. Cupcakes are 1 dozen per flavor. Sweet rolls are 6 per flavor. Muffins are 4 per flavor. All other items are sold individually. If I am at an event, items will be sold individually; however, there will be limited availability.

What is your policy for order cancellations?Cancellations made with at least 7 days’ notice from scheduled pickup or delivery will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations made with less than 7 days but up to 48 hours’ notice from scheduled pickup or delivery will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice from scheduled pickup or delivery will forfeit any refund.

Do you have a loyalty program?Yes! Loyalty cards are provided with your first order. For each subsequent order, present your Loyalty Card to be marked upon pickup or delivery.

What payment methods do you accept?I accept cash, NFC, and credit card payments.

Is delivery available for orders?Delivery is available for a fee. Please include that you are interested in delivery, as well as the address, when filling out the contact form at the bottom of this page.

What is the best way to store items from my order?Baked goods (breads, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, pies, etc.): store at room temperature in an airtight container. They will remain fresh for 2-3 days. Keep them away from heat and direct sunlight to preserve freshness, flavor, and texture. Candies: store at room temperature in an airtight container. They will remain fresh for at least 1 month. Fudge: store at room temperature in an airtight container. It will remain fresh for at least 2 weeks. If you prefer a firmer fudge, store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
